Best Weld is located in Anderson, Indiana and was established in 1974 as a welding company providing repair and modification services for major automotive manufacturer steel shipping container. The company now operates through three divisions in North America.

In January 2010 two new divisions were created; Best Weld Discount Steel and Best Weld Rebar Supply Fabrication. These new divisions will serve the construction and related industries.
